This DVR allows the user to watch video clearly up to 16 times faster, pause and step frame by frame through the video. A 2x digital zoom function allows the user to enlarge the image for a closer look.

The ECON-16 can be viewed over a local network or across the World Wide Web. Alarm inputs allow the ECON-4 to start recording when doors are opened or a panic button is pushed. Alarm output is available to turn on lights or buzzers when the camera senses motion or one of the alarm inputs is triggered.

While the ECON-16 does not provide a lot of special features it does provide the user with a highly reliable DVR system that is perfect for “Catching the hand in the cookie jar”.
