240 fps of recording can be allocated by user on a per camera basis.  Higher frame rates can be given to cameras with high traffic and lower frame rates to cameras recording more static areas.

Each camera can be set up individually for frame rate, quality, resolution and schedule. 

"Intensive" recording allows unit to record all of the time at slow rate and higher rate when motion occurs.

Eight audio and video inputs.  Audio inputs can be associated with any video channel. 

Listen to one channel of audio via speakers connected to DVR, computer on local area network and across the world wide web. 

"Smart Search" function allows you to determine when an object was moved by defining an area of motion AFTER recording has taken place. 

The package includes Central video Management Software allowing for simultaneous connection to multiple devices.  User can choose cameras from different units and display  up to 64 cameras within a single window.  

Additional hardware (RAID controllers, External Storage boxes) is required for units with more than 2TB of storage.
